Hursley School website goes live using Shapeshifter CMS technology...
For several years, 8th Day Studios have been developing a respected reputation within the education sector, not only in relation to the design, development and management of school websites, but also with regards to their work with other members of "The Education Project" in developing cost effective technology solutions for schools.
"Although our templated website platform was developed specifically for schools, we strongly believe that by migrating onto the Shapeshifter CMS platform we are able to offer our schools even more for their money," said Jonathan Reynolds, director of design at 8th Day. "The pilot with Hursley School has proved a massive success and we now intend to expand this programme across the country."
"It has exceeded our expectations," said Matt O'Brien, Headmaster of Hursley School. "We were always happy with the design of our website but the new platform allows us to have complete control of both the content and management of the site which, in turn, means we can start to use the website in new ways such as being able to develop it as a real extension to the classroom."
Digital-Word is privileged to have been selected by 8th Day Studios for this pilot project and we look forward to finalising agreements with 8th Day Studios Limited that will establish Shapeshifter CMS as their preferred technology platform for schools.
